New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Tropical Storm Jose was
located near 39.6N 67.9W, or about 130 nm SE of Nantucket, at 5
PM EDT, and is nearly stationary with maximum sustained winds to
45 kt. Jose will drift W to near 39.5N 68.8W by 2 PM EDT Fri as a
post-tropical low, and to 39N 68.2W by 2 PM EDT Sat, while
gradually weakening. Post-tropical Jose will then slowly drift
back eastward Sat night and Sun while continuing to weaken
before dissipating Mon. S to SE swell from Hurricane Maria will
impact the area Sat through Tue night. Otherwise, a high pres
ridge will persist inland just NW of the area tonight through
Sat night, then will shift NW of the waters Sun and Mon.
Hurricane Maria is expected to track N just E of the Mid Atlantic
waters Mon through Tue night. Refer to the latest National
Hurricane Center advisories for Tropical Storm Jose and Hurricane
Maria.
