THE NORTH FORK EDISTO RIVER WAS RISING RAPIDLY AND WILL CREST AROUND
7.6 FEET EARLY MORNING TUESDAY. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR
ESTIMATED 8 TO 10 INCHES OF RAIN FELL IN THE BASIN THIS EVENING. THIS
RAINFALL ESTIMATE HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY AN AREA RAIN GAUGE. THE RIVER IS
FORECAST TO SLOWLY FALL DURING THE DAY TUESDAY.

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND POSSIBLE THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED THROUGH TUESDAY ACROSS THE AREA. AMOUNTS OF FROM
ONE-QUARTER TO THREE-QUARTERS OF AN INCH ARE LIKELY OVERALL...
WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.

A PERSISTENT NEARLY STATIONARY FRONT DRAPED ACROSS THE AREA...
