For the Wolf Creek...the following locations are included...Lipscomb.
.6 to 8 inches of rain fell upstream of the gage site during the
past few days. The creek is expected to fall slowly and should be
below its bankfull stage of 6 feet late this weekend. Additional
rainfall is possible this afternoon or tonight from isolated
thunderstorms, though any additional rainfall is not expected to
cause a significant rise on the Wolf Creek at Lipscomb.
For the Wolf Creek At Lipscomb.
* Latest stage: 6.2 feet at 8 AM Thursday.
* Flood stage: 9.5 feet.
* Bankfull stage: 6.0 feet.
At 6.0 feet...The creek is at bankfull stage. Water overflows its
natural banks and no damage occurs.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
