HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT

...The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a Hydrologic
Statement in cooperation with the California Department of Water
Resources for the following rivers in California...

  Eel River At Fernbridge affecting Humboldt County

Showers will continue through Monday. However, the river is
forecast to continue to slowly recede below monitor stage tonight.

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Do not drive your car across flooded roadways. It only takes about
two feet of water to float most vehicles. For area road conditions...
call CALTRANS at 1-800-427-7623.

Stay tuned to developments by listening to NOAA Weather Radio or your
local TV or radio stations.

The next statement will be issued around 1000 PM tonight or as
warranted by changing conditions.

* This river is currently above monitor stage.
* No flooding is forecast.
* Monitor stage is 14.0 feet, flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* This river is forecast to fall below monitor stage of 14.0 ft
  around midnight tonight, then recede to near 8.0 ft by Wednesday
  afternoon.
