UNSEASONABLY WARM TEMPERATURES WERE COMMON ACROSS THE HIGH PLAINS
THIS AFTERNOON. CLEAR SKIES AND GENERALLY LIGHT WINDS WERE ALSO
NOTED OVER MOST LOCATIONS. AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM
THE UPPER 60S IN SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS TO THE LOWER 80S IN THE WESTERN
HALF OF THE STATE.

AS UPPER LEVEL RIDGING MOVES ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS TONIGHT, AN
UPPER LEVEL TROUGH OVER MONTANA WILL MOVE OUT INTO THE ADJACENT
PLAINS OVERNIGHT. SURFACE TROUGHING ACROSS EASTERN COLORADO WILL
MOVE INTO WESTERN KANSAS OVERNIGHT BEFORE A COLD FRONT SINKS SOUTH
CROSS THE HIGH PLAINS BY SUNDAY MORNING. COOLER TEMPERATURES AND
WINDY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ON SUNDAY. IN THE MEANTIME, CLEAR
SKIES ARE EXPECTED OVERNIGHT WITH SOME CLOUDS INCREASING BY EARLY
SUNDAY MORNING.

LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 40S IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO
TO THE LOWER 50S IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. HIGHS ON SUNDAY WILL RANGE
FROM THE LOWER 60S IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO TO THE MID 70S IN THE
TEXAS PANHANDLE.
