THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA REGION SKIES BECAME
PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY IN THE LATE AFTERNOON HOURS. BY LATE
AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 30S WITH
SOUTHEAST WINDS AT 15 TO 20 MPH GUSTING INTO THE LOWER 30S MPH.

THE CLOUDS WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE INTO THE EVENING AS A STORM
SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE NORTHWEST. THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING THE
CHANCES FOR RAIN SHOWERS TONIGHT...POSSIBLY MIXED WITH FREEZING
RAIN NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80 AND ESPECIALLY NEAR THE ILLINOIS AND
WISCONSIN BORDER. THE PRECIPITATION COULD POSSIBLY TURN TO A RAIN
AND SNOW MIX THURSDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON AS A COLD FRONT
PASSES. BEHIND THE FRONT... QUIET WEATHER BUT COLDER TEMPERATURES
WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION FOR THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY.
