Light rain and drizzle continued to move across the Quad State
Region today. Skies were overcast and winds were westerly at 5 to 15
mph. Afternoon temperatures reached highs in the low to mid 40s
across the area.

High pressure will move east across the Mississippi Valley late
tonight, reaching the Appalachian Mountains by Christmas night. This
high will bring plenty of clear sky. South winds on the back side of
this high will bring milder air for Friday. Highs on Friday will be
in the lower to mid 50s.

A cold front will move southeast across the Lower Ohio Valley on
Saturday night. Rain showers are likely along and ahead of this
front Saturday into Saturday night.

A low pressure system will move northeast from Mississippi on
Sunday, reaching Virginia by Monday morning. This low will keep
precipitation in the forecast through Monday. Mostly rain is
expected, but there may be some snow on Sunday night and Monday.
