Backcountry Forecast for western Montana and north central Idaho

DISCUSSION: Cloud cover will increase throughout today as the
upcoming weather system approaches the region. High elevations
are forecast to see temperatures well into the 20s by late today
and westerly winds will be on the increase. Precipitation has
slowed in recent model guidance but Tuesday still looks to have
increasing snow and mixed precipitation in north central Idaho and
northwest Montana.
