A COLD FRONT EXTENDS SOUTHWESTWARD FROM 25N146E TO BEYOND 130E AT
19N. LOW CLOUDS AND PATCHY SHOWERS ARE OCCURRING WELL NORTHWEST OF
THE MARIANAS ALONG THE BOUNDARY AND NORTHWESTWARD TO BEYOND 25N.

A DIFFUSE SHEAR LINE RUNS SOUTHWESTWARD FROM 25N170E TO 12N152E.
CLOUDINESS AND PATCHY SHOWERS ARE LOCATED WELL EAST OF THE MARIANAS
ALONG AND UP TO 160 MILES NORTHWEST OF THIS FEATURE. LOW-LEVEL
CONVERGENCE SOUTHEAST OF THE SHEAR LINE IS GENERATING SCATTERED
SHOWERS OVER WAKE ISLAND WITHIN AN AREA BOUNDED BY A LINE FROM
17N162E TO 25N170E TO 19N171E.

A NEAR-EQUATORIAL TROUGH STRETCHES SOUTHEASTWARD FROM 8N141E TO
EQ167E. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRESENT
SOUTHEAST OF CHUUK BUT OVER POHNPEI AND KOSRAE BETWEEN 8N AND THE
EQUATOR FROM 153E TO 164E. SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE FOUND SOUTHEAST OF
KOSRAE BETWEEN 5N AND THE EQUATOR FROM 164E TO 170E.

A WEAK TRADE-WIND DISTURBANCE IS GENERATING SCATTERED SHOWERS SOUTH
OF THE MARIANAS BETWEEN 10N AND 6N FROM 144E TO 148E.
