...LINE OF STRONG STORMS MAY PRODUCE WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH
BRIEF PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN AND SMALL HAIL...

At 1206 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Slater to 6 miles north of Bondurant.
Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms. Visibility may be reduced to one mile or less during
periods of heavy rain...creating potentially hazardous travel
situation.

Locations impacted include...
Ames, Nevada, Huxley, Slater, Maxwell, Colo, Melbourne, Cambridge,
Elkhart, Collins, Kelley, Rhodes and Ames Municipal Airport.
