...SOME HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS STILL POSSIBLE ACROSS
PORTIONS OF THE AREA THIS MORNING...

Thanks to sunny skies and warm ground conditions on Wednesday, road
conditions did improve across much of the area. However, with an
extremely cold Arctic airmass still over the region, any patchy
wet spots lingering on area roads froze yet again after sunset.
This will result in some sporadic dangerous driving conditions
across the area, as temperatures are in the teens across the area
this morning. If you have plans to travel, particularly across the
Delta region and south of the Interstate 20 corridor, check ahead
to find out if roads are safe along your route. If icy conditions
are being reported, stay off roadways and limit travel to
emergencies only.
