...Gusty south/southwest winds today...

Breezy conditions expected today. South winds will gradually
become more southwesterly through the day, with gusts of 25 to 35
mph expected. Some locally higher gusts to 40 mph are possible.
Strongest winds are generally expected across portions of
southwest Illinois and southeast Missouri into far western
Kentucky.

Winds will gradually ramp down some this evening, however they
will remain quite gusty into the overnight hours.

The wind will cause some loose objects to blow around. Motorists
may find vehicles difficult to handle, especially in open areas
exposed to the wind.
