VANCE...NORTHERN FRANKLIN AND SOUTHERN GRANVILLE COUNTIES UNTIL 245
AM EDT...

AT 114 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 8 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
WARRENTON TO 6 MILES EAST OF CREEDMOOR. MOVEMENT OF THE INDIVIDUAL
SHOWERS AND STORMS...WHICH WILL SUCCESSIVELY MOVE OVER THE SAME
LOCATIONS WAS EAST AT 30 MPH.

HEAVY RAIN OF UP TO ONE AND A HALF INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE
WITH THESE REPEATED SHOWERS AND STORMS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
ROANOKE RAPIDS...HENDERSON...CREEDMOOR...WARRENTON...BUTNER...LITTLETON...
KITTRELL...WELDON...MACON AND SOUTH HENDERSON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL QUICKLY REDUCE VISIBILITY AND RESULT IN
PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS. DRIVERS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND USE
EXTRA CAUTION TO AVOID HYDROPLANING. MINOR FLOODING WILL ALSO BE
POSSIBLE.
