The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Coconino County in north central Arizona...

* Until 1230 PM MST

* At 1152 AM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Moran Point
  At Grand Canyon, or 9 miles southwest of Desert View at Grand
  Canyon, moving northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Desert View at Grand Canyon, Moran Point At Grand Canyon and
  Grandview Point At Grand Canyon.

This includes State Route 64 between mile markers 269 and 278.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
