NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GAYLORD MI
550 PM EDT THU AUG 27 2015

AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN ENTRENCHED OVER THE AREA
TONIGHT...MAINTAINING MILD AND DRY CONDITIONS OVER THE GREAT LAKES
THROUGH THE FIRST HALF OF FRIDAY. HOWEVER...A WEAK STORM SYSTEM WILL
THEN PUSH ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS AND GREAT LAKES THIS
WEEKEND...GENERATING THE CHANCE FOR SHOWERS THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY.

NEXT WEEK AN UPPER TROUGH WILL DEEPEN OVER THE WEST COAST WHILE THE
LARGE AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE STRENGTHENS ACROSS THE EASTERN TWO
THIRDS OF THE COUNTRY. THIS PATTERN WILL GENERATE MAINLY DRY
CONDITIONS ALONG WITH WELL ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES ACROSS NORTHERN
MICHIGAN THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT...WILL RANGE THROUGH THE 50S.

HIGH TEMPERATURES FRIDAY...WILL BE IN THE MID 70S.

THE HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR NORTHERN LOWER AND EASTERN UPPER
MICHIGAN THROUGH SATURDAY.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE SATURDAY...HOWEVER HAZARDOUS
WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
