WEATHER SYNOPSIS

LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE EAST INTO THE MID MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY
THIS EVENING. AS IT DOES, SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME
MORE LIKELY. SOME OF THE STORMS MAY EVEN REACH SEVERE LEVELS.
ONCE THE STORMS PASS, DRY AIR WILL BE QUICK TO RETURN ON FRIDAY AND
SATURDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE STRENGTHENS AT THE SURFACE AND ALOFT.
HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL REACH THE 70S TO LOWER 80S.

A COMPLEX AND UNSETTLED PERIOD WILL UNFOLDING FOR THE
SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY TIME FRAME. MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND
STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AS A STORM SYSTEM
STAGNATES OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS. HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ALSO BE A
CONCERN, UNTIL COOLER AND DRIER CONDITIONS RETURN BY AROUND MID
WEEK.
