WEATHER SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
327 PM CDT TUE AUG 26 2014

LITTLE RELIEF WILL BE FELT OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS AS A HIGH PRESSURE
SYSTEM HOVERS OVER THE REGION. PASSAGE OF A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL
ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO TREND MORE TOWARDS NORMAL WITH HIGHS IN THE
UPPER 80S AND LOW 90S. THIS FRONT WILL ALSO BRING SLIGHT CHANCES OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE AREA THROUGH
THURSDAY.

AS A RESULT OF CONTINUING HIGH MOISTURE LEVELS, WE WILL
SEE HEAT INDEX VALUES IN THE MID TO UPPER 90S AND MORNING LOWS IN
THE LOW 70S THROUGH THE REST OF THE WEEK. AS FOR THE WEEKEND, AN
UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM BRINGS A GOOD CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
AS THE UNCOMFORTABLE HEAT CONTINUES.
