URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...MORE SNOW TODAY ALONG WITH LOCAL BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...

.SNOW WILL SPREAD OVER SOUTHEAST OREGON THIS MORNING AS A FRONT
ASSOCIATED WITH AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OFF THE WEST COAST MOVES
OVER THE AREA. SNOW WILL BEGIN NEAR THE NEVADA BORDER EARLY THIS
MORNING AND SPREAD NORTH TO BAKER COUNTY BY MID MORNING. ALONG
WITH THE SNOW, GUSTY WINDS WILL CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
SNOW WILL TAPER OFF BY THIS EVENING, BUT WILL CONTINUE TO SEE
LIGHT SNOW THROUGH TONIGHT.

THIS AFTERNOON...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BOISE HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER
ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5
PM MST /4 PM PST/ THIS AFTERNOON.

* SNOW AMOUNTS...2 TO 4 INCHES, MAINLY OVER BAKER COUNTY AND THE
  NORTHERN SECTION OF HARNEY AND MALHEUR COUNTIES.

* WINDS...EAST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN THIS MORNING AND DIMINISH THIS EVENING.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL GET FRESH SNOW ALONG WITH REDUCED
  VISIBILITY IN BLOWING SNOW, CREATING ADDITIONAL TRAVEL HAZARDS,
  ESPECIALLY ALONG I-84.
