.MOISTURE AND COLD TEMPERATURES ASSOCIATED WITH A TROUGH NEAR THE
BIG ISLAND WILL BRING SNOWFALL AND FREEZING FOG ACROSS THE BIG
ISLAND SUMMITS THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THE COMBINATION OF HAZARDS
WILL MAKE TRAVELING TO THE SUMMITS DANGEROUS.

WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOWFALL...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM HST MONDAY.

* LOCATIONS...SUMMITS OF MAUNA LOA AND MAUNA KEA ABOVE 12500 FEET.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION AND FREEZING FOG

* ACCUMULATIONS...UP TO 3 INCHES.

* TIMING...TODAY THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL TO THE SUMMITS...EITHER ON FOOT OR BY
  VEHICLE...WILL BE DANGEROUS OVER THE WEEKEND.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 10 TO 15 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE UPPER 20S.

* VISIBILITIES...UNDER A HALF MILE AT TIMES IN CLOUDS...FREEZING FOG...AND
  PRECIPITATION.
