...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN STANLEY COUNTY
THROUGH 1100 PM MDT...

At 1032 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Wendte, or 16 miles southwest of Fort Pierre, moving north at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wendte and Chantier Creek Recreation Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Aberdeen.
