A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Western portions of Lake Erie between Maumee Bay and The Islands

At 318 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from North Cape to 14 nm southeast of
Luna Pier, moving northeast at 45 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for northwestern
Ohio...and the adjacent waters of Lake Erie.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
