...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM CDT
FOR EASTERN STAFFORD COUNTY...

At 504 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Stafford,
moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Public. Public reported quarter sized hail 2 miles south of
         Stafford at 455 PM.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
eastern Stafford County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central
Kansas.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
