Sunny skies in store today. Expect northeast 20-foot winds around 9-12 mph with gusts up to 18 mph today and fair smoke dispersal at ignition time increasing to good to excellent this afternoon. Afternoon minimum relative humidity drops as low as 35-38%. Surface high pressure and calm winds tonight is expected to allow stout near-surface inversions to form and highly limit any smoke dispersal right after sunset today. Scattered rain chances build late Friday morning into the remainder of the day. Scattered thunderstorms are expected to form Friday afternoon, and an isolated strong thunderstorm can`t be ruled out during the late afternoon into mid evening, with small hail and localized erratic wind gusts as the main threats. Localized rainfall amounts of one to two tenths likely, though slightly higher under any storms. South to southwest winds Friday morning veer northwesterly by mid-Friday afternoon, with 20-ft gusts increasing to around 15 mph during the afternoon. Minimum afternoon RH values will be slightly higher, bottoming out around 40-45%. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Sunny (0-10 percent). Chance of pcpn......0 percent. LAL.................1.
