...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern
Whiteside, northeastern Rock Island, northwestern Henry, eastern
Scott and south central Clinton Counties through 1015 PM CDT...

At 933 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
the west side of Davenport, moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Davenport, Moline, Rock Island, Bettendorf, East Moline, Silvis,
Eldridge, Le Claire, Hampton, Port Byron, Rapids City, Princeton,
Long Grove, Cordova, Riverdale, Donahue, McCausland, Cleveland,
Osborn, and Carbon Cliff.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
