...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Medina,
southeastern Bandera and northwestern Bexar Counties through 1030 PM
CDT...

At 946 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Mico, or 12 miles northwest of Castroville, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
San Antonio, Leon Valley, Helotes, Shavano Park, Cross Mountain,
Cliff, Lackland AFB, The Dominion, Mico, Government Canyon State
Natural Area, Rio Medina, Sea World, Lakehills, Castle Hills,
Balcones Heights, Grey Forest, San Geronimo, and Fiesta Texas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
