.DISCUSSION...Strong, gusty southwest winds will continue through
the afternoon with gusts above 55 mph across much of the region.
Some of the mountains will see gusts in excess of 70 mph. A strong
cold front will bring precipitation tonight through Monday with
valley rain and mountain snow. The greatest accumulations will be
confined to elevations above 8-9kft. Temperatures will drop to
well below normal behind the front with periods of showers
expected through the week.
