Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Over the past 24 hours, the Tri State region has seen daytime
highs top off in the mid 50s to the lower 60s. Lows during this
time ranged in the mid 30s to lower 40s and occurred this morning.
There were some light showers, fog and drizzle that impacted
portions of the region during this time, with amounts ranging up
to a few hundredths at best.

OUTLOOK... For today and on through the midweek timeframe, the
area will see above normal warmth in the 70s and 80s for highs,
cooling slightly for the latter portion of the week with 60s and
70s expected. This will be followed by increased warmth again
going into next weekend with above normal highs in the 70s and
80s, especially next Monday.

Dry conditions are expected for today into a portion of Tuesday.
From there, increased chances for more showers and storms will
occur from late Tuesday on into Thursday for best areal coverage
around the area. From there, mainly scattered chances in the east.
