...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas...

  Neosho River at Oswego affecting Cherokee and Labette Counties.

  Neosho River near Parsons affecting Neosho and Labette Counties.

  Neosho River at Iola affecting Allen County.

  Neosho River near Chanute affecting Allen and Neosho Counties.

  Neosho River near Erie affecting Neosho County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
drown.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Neosho River at Oswego.

* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, The roads around the water pumping plant
  and the river gage site floods. Expect field and cropland flooding
  near the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:40 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 19.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.3
    feet Tuesday evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Neosho River near Parsons.

* WHEN...Until late Thursday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 25.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.3
    feet just after midnight early Tuesday morning. It will then
    fall below flood stage late Wednesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TOMORROW MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neosho River at Iola.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 19.5 feet, Flood waters flow over 1300 Street, just
  north of Elm Creek, and over low lying fields next to the Water
  Plant. Expect west bank overflows north of gage site.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 19.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this evening and continue falling to 7.5 feet early
    Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 31.0 feet, A few isolated dwellings in the eastern
  outskirts of Chanute are subject to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 31.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Tuesday afternoon and continue falling to 8.8 feet
    early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

* WHERE...Neosho River near Erie.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 37.5 feet, Parts of the levee system overtops.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:12 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 37.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will remain in broad crest around 37.4
    feet today and is expected to fall below flood stage early
    Wednesday morning and continue falling to 12.8 feet early
    Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
