Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the Southern Great Lakes
National Weather Service Northern Indiana
512 AM EDT Thu May 9 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Showers and a few storms possible today. Rainfall amounts generally
around one half inch, locally higher under thunderstorm downpours. An
active, periodically wet pattern will continue into next week with
on again, off again chances for rain. The wet pattern combined with
the rapid growth of vegetation with help mitigate any fire weather
issues. Temperatures will be near average today through Saturday and
rise to above average Sunday into much of next week.
