.NOW...
Through 700 pm, isolated showers continue to affect western Hawk
Channel, the Middle and Lower Keys, in particular, Key West and
Stock Island, the Bayside and Gulfside waters, and Florida Bay. The
showers over the western Lower Keys and western Hawk Channel
continue to move near 5 knots to the southwest while the showers
north of the Middle and Upper Keys remain nearly stationary.
Mariners encountering the stronger showers can expect brief reduction
in visibility, wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots, and occasional
lightning strikes. Island Chain communities, especially in the Lower
Keys can expect a few to several tenths of an inch of rainfall from
any showers that move overhead.
