This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Snow showers are likely north of Highway 2 tonight, with
accumulations of up to a dusting possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible Saturday evening, primarily west
of Highway 83. Additional thunderstorms will be possible Sunday
afternoon and evening across southwest and north central Nebraska.
At this time, the threat for severe weather appears low but an
isolated severe storm producing large hail may form south of Highway
23 and east of Highway 83.

Confidence continues to increase regarding a strong spring storm
arriving Sunday and lasting into Monday. The hazards are
accumulating snow, high winds and freezing rain or sleet. Strong
north winds gusting as high as 60 miles per hour will cause
significant blowing and drifting snow with very low visibility
Sunday night and Monday. Travel will likely become difficult to
impossible Sunday night into Monday. The combination of wintry
precipitation and subzero wind chills could impact young livestock.

There is still some uncertainty with the timing and track of the
storm, which will affect the impact of the storm across western and
north central Nebraska. Keep up to date with the latest forecasts as
this storm approaches the region.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
