For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure to the west affects the central Great
Lakes through the weekend. The system brings increasing southwest
winds and a pattern of showers and thunderstorms through Monday
as a similar system follows in-trail. The initial cold front
stalls over Lake Huron and Lower Michigan until disloding Monday
night.

.TODAY...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around
30 knots becoming south 20 to 25 knots with gusts to around
30 knots late in the morning...then decreasing to 15 to 20 knots
with gusts to around 30 knots in the afternoon. A chance of
showers. Waves 8 to 12 feet. Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.TONIGHT...South winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest 10 to
15 knots in the late evening and early morning...then decreasing
to 5 to 10 knots early in the morning. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms. Waves 5 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around
10 feet.
.SUNDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding
to 1 to 3 feet in the late morning and afternoon.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming east
15 to 20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots after midnight.
Showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 4 to 6 feet in the late
evening and overnight. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.MONDAY...East winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales
decreasing to 10 to 15 knots. Showers...then a chance of showers
late in the evening. Waves 4 to 6 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots veering to the west in
the late morning and early afternoon...then becoming west 10 to
15 knots early in the evening veering to the southeast in the
late evening and early morning. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to
1 to 3 feet. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to
15 knots until early evening...then becoming east 5 to 10 knots
in the late evening and early morning. A chance of showers in the
late evening and early morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to
2 to 4 feet.
