Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
238 PM CDT Thu Apr 25 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Moisture has increased and winds will remain light this afternoon. This
will keep the region from reaching critical fire weather
thresholds. Fog will be possible, but overall fog appears to be
patchy and shallow in nature. That said, in fog favored locations,
cannot rule out a few dense patches. Little to no rain is expected
through the weekend with the next best chance of finally seeing a
wetting rainfall early next week.
