...The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Kentucky...

  Barren River at Bowling Green affecting Warren County.

.Heavy rain from the past 24 hours is causing the river to rise.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

The next statement will be issued by Friday afternoon at 100 PM CDT.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO EARLY SATURDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Barren River at Bowling Green.

* WHEN...From this morning to early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, parks begin to flood. Most of Thomas
  Landing and Weldon Peete Park flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 18.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 27.8 feet tomorrow morning.
    It will then fall to 10.2 feet Sunday evening.
  - Action stage is 26.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
