...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN FORD...SOUTHERN
IROQUOIS...SOUTHERN NEWTON...BENTON AND SOUTHERN JASPER COUNTIES
THROUGH 600 PM CDT/700 PM EDT/...

At 514 PM CDT/614 PM EDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms capable of producing a landspout along a line extending
from near Wolcott to near Gibson City. Movement was northeast at 5
mph.

HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts up to 40 mph, and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.

Paxton, Gibson City, Fowler, Kentland, Milford, Otterbein, Remington,
Oxford, Sheldon, Goodland, Cissna Park, Boswell, Buckley, Earl Park,
Stockland, Melvin, Loda, Roberts, Woodland, Elliott, Wellington,
Ambia, Clarence, Dunnington, and Claytonville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
