...A STRONG STORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL LOS ANGELES COUNTY THROUGH 330
PM PDT...

At 244 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong storm across the
western portion of the San Gabriel Valley, centered near Montebello.
The storm was moving to the northeast at around 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail, brief heavy
         downpours with local roadway flooding. There is some
         weak rotation with this storm, resulting in the possibility
         of funnel clouds or a brief and weak tornado spin-up.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.

Pico Rivera... Monterey Park... Hacienda Heights... San Gabriel...
Norwalk... Bellflower... Bell Gardens...East Los Angeles...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
