This is followed by a cool, showery weather pattern the remainder of the weekend. There is also a slight chance of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon across inland areas, mainly west of the Cascades and across northern California. Another front arrives on Monday bringing additional chances for precipitation and a slight chance for thunderstorms. Conditions begin to warm up and dry out by the middle next week.
