.DISCUSSION...

Relative humidity values Thursday afternoon will be very low, in
the 20 to 30 percent range inland from Lake Michigan. Mixing
heights will be 4000 to 5000 feet AGL inland in the afternoon, but
it will take a while to get to that point since morning winds will
be so low. Smoke dispersal values will begin fair and become good
well inland from Lake Michigan.

Rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to push into the
area by later Friday and linger at times through the upcoming
weekend. Gusty winds and warmer, more humid air is expected during
this period.
