Fire Weather Planning Forecast for East Tennessee...Southwest
Virginia...and Extreme Southwest North Carolina
National Weather Service Morristown TN
243 AM EDT Sun Apr 14 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Southwesterly winds will be gusty this afternoon up to 30 mph at
times. With good mixing conditions, relative humidity values will
likely be in the lower 30 percent range in most locations. Fuel
moisture is likely high enough to keep fire danger minimal.
High pressure will result in dry and warm conditions through the
weekend. A chance of showers and thunderstorms returns for the
middle of next week.
