The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Cumberland County in Middle Tennessee...
  Southwestern Fentress County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 845 PM CDT.

* At 812 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles north of
  Fairfield Glade, or 14 miles northeast of Crossville, moving east
  at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Crossville, Fairfield Glade, Grimsley, Slate Springs, and
  Clarkrange.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 313 and 317.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for Middle
Tennessee. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 300 AM CDT
for Middle Tennessee.
