.DISCUSSION...
The chance for showers and isolated thunderstorms continues tonight,
with the best chance for rainfall being across southern West
Virginia and southwest Virginia. Locally heavy downpours overnight
could result in a few high water issues.
The rest of the week and the weekend will remain unsettled, leading
to the daily chance for showers and storms. The potential for
isolated strong to severe thunderstorms returns during the day on
Thursday ahead of a cold front, with its passage ushering in much
cooler temperatures for Friday and the weekend.
Active weather looks to continue next week, with rounds of showers
and storms.
