The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Newton County in southwestern Missouri...
  Northern McDonald County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 401 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Seneca, or 10
  miles east of Miami, moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Neosho, Seneca, Granby, Goodman, Diamond, Fairview, Newtonia,
  Stella, Wentworth, Stark City, Ritchey, Rocky Comfort, and Racine.

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 11 and 29.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for southwestern
