Satellite imagery and doppler radar indicated strong
thunderstorm development across the nearshore and offshore Atlantic
waters. These thunderstorms are capable of producing winds to
around 30 knots, frequent lightning, and torrential rain.
Waterspouts are possible. The strongest thunderstorms are
occurringalong a line, extending from northwestern Puerto Rico
northward to 19.5 N, moving east-southeast at 15-20 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
