...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN SHAWNEE...EASTERN
WABAUNSEE...SOUTHEASTERN POTTAWATOMIE AND SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON
COUNTIES THROUGH 700 AM CDT...

At 626 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Paxico to 3 miles northwest of Eskridge to
7 miles north of Allen. Movement was northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rossville, Eskridge, St. Marys, Dover, Maple Hill, Paxico, Delia,
Willard, and Keene.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 332 and 348.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for northeastern
and east central Kansas.
