...A HIGH SURF WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR EAST FACING REEFS...

HAZARDOUS SURF OF 10 TO 13 FEET WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY SUBSIDE
TONIGHT WITH SURF FALLING BELOW HAZARDOUS LEVELS AS EARLY AS FRIDAY
NIGHT OR SATURDAY.

MUCH OF THE EAST-NORTHEAST SWELL AND WAVE ENERGY IS BEING BLOCKED
BY ARNO ATOLL. THIS WILL LIMIT SURF HEIGHTS AND INUNDATION ON THE
POPULATED SOUTHEAST QUADRANT OF MAJURO ATOLL. ARNO ATOLL AND THE
NORTHWEST PORTION OF MAJURO ATOLL WILL EXPERIENCE DANGEROUS SURF OF
13 TO 15 FEET INTO THIS EVENING...THEN SURF IS EXPECTED TO DROP
BELOW DANGEROUS LEVELS OF 15 FEET.

THE COMBINATION OF SPRING TIDES AND LARGE SURF WILL CAUSE INUNDATION
OF AROUND 1 FOOT AROUND THE TIME OF HIGH TIDE THIS EVENING AT 624 PM
ON ARNO ATOLL AND PORTIONS OF MAJURO ATOLL.

A HIGH SURF WARNING MEANS THAT DANGEROUS...BATTERING WAVES WILL
POUND THE REEFS...PRODUCING DEADLY RIP CURRENTS AND COASTAL
INUNDATION.

PEOPLE SHOULD STAY OUT OF THE WATER AND AVOID VENTURING NEAR EXPOSED
REEFS AND BEACHES...ESPECIALLY THOSE FACING EAST ON MAJURO AS RIP
CURRENTS WILL BE LIFE THREATENING...AND THIS INCLUDES THE NORTHWEST
QUADRANT OF MAJURO ATOLL WHERE SURF WILL ALSO BE DANGEROUS.
