Increasing trade winds and a long period northwest to north swell
is expected to create dangerous rip currents along the north facing
beaches of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM AST SATURDAY THROUGH
LATE SATURDAY NIGHT...

The National Weather Service in SAN JUAN has issued a High Rip
Current Risk, which is in effect from 6 AM AST Saturday through
late Saturday night.

* LOCATION...along the northwest to north facing beaches of Puerto
  Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

* TIMING...after 6 am AST Saturday Morning

* IMPACTS...Strong currents that can carry away even the best of
  swimmers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

There is a high risk of rip currents.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

There is a high risk of rip currents.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
