...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...

The Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of central California, including the following
areas, East Central San Joaquin Valley, Mariposa, Madera, and
Fresno County Foothills, Sierra Nevada from Yosemite to Kings
Canyon, Tulare County Foothills, Tulare County Mountains, and
  West Central San Joaquin Valley.

* Through Tuesday morning

* An incoming strong storm system will bring a period of
excessive rainfall to central California. The heaviest
rainfall will occur early Monday morning through Monday night.

* The combination of already wet soils and moderate to heavy
rain could lead to excessive runoff. Flooding of small
streams, low water crossings and poor drainage areas will be
possible. Mud and rock slides in areas of higher terrain are
  also possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
