Connecticut...Rhode Island...

  Pawcatuck River At Westerly affecting New London and Washington
  Counties

The time of high tide has passed, allowing river levels to recede.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety Message...Do not allow children to play near swollen rivers,
streams or culverts. Swiftly moving water can pose an imminent
threat
to life.

The Flood Warning is cancelled for
  The Pawcatuck River At Westerly.
* At 12:00 AM Friday the stage was 6.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river crested at flood stage at 7.0 feet. The
  river will continue to fall to 6.2 feet by tomorrow morning.
* Impact...At 7.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding occurs along the
  Pawcatuck River. Along Route 3 in Hopkinton, floodwaters encroach
  on lowest lying homes in French Village.
