...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM EDT FOR
ISABELLA...MECOSTA AND NORTHERN MONTCALM COUNTIES...

At 900 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 3
to 6 inches of rain had fallen overnight across the warned area.
Emergency management reports a number of roads are closed due to
flooding. Rivers and creeks are also rising.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Mount Pleasant, Big Rapids, Howard City, Shepherd, Edmore, Lakeview,
Morley, Mecosta, Rosebush, Barryton, Canadian Lakes, Lake Isabella,
Stanwood, Sylvester, Amble, Wyman, Delwin, Winn, Rodney and Six
Lakes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Keep children away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away.
