The National Weather Service in Missoula has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  An Ice Jam in...
  the Lemhi River in central Lemhi County in east central Idaho...

* Until further notice

* Emergency management and a trained weather spotter continue to
  report that multiple ice jams have formed along the Lemhi River
  from Salmon to Tendoy. Observations from Tuesday January 17th
  indicate that ice jams have not grown significantly overnight and
  river levels have not changed much since the 16th.

* These freeze-up ice jams will be capable of backing up water into
  low lying areas adjacent to the Lemhi River, affecting private
  property and residences along the river.

* Temperatures will stay cold for another night with low
  temperatures in the negative 5 to negative 15 degree range. A slow
  warming trend is forecast for the second half of the week.
  Additional ice accumulation is expected with the cold temperatures
  and ice jams in the Lemhi River will continue to build.!
