...The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a flood
warning for the following rivers in South Carolina...

  Pee Dee River At Cheraw affecting Chesterfield and Marlboro
  Counties

  Wateree River At Lake Wateree affecting Fairfield...Kershaw and
  Lancaster Counties

.Rainfall of 3 to 5 inches fell in the past 24 hours across the
Yadkin River...Pee Dee River and Catawba River Basins. This will
produce significant rises on the area rivers and lakes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to noaa weather radio...
local media or the internet for further statements and updated
forecasts.

The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Pee Dee River At Cheraw
* from Tuesday afternoon to Sunday morning...Or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At 10 AM Monday the stage was 4.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* forecast...The river will rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon
  and crest around 41.2 feet Thursday morning. The river will fall
  below flood stage Saturday April 29.
* At 30.0 feet...Portions of Riverside Park become flooded along with
  large areas of bottomland forest around Cheraw.
* At 35.0 feet...Areas southeast of the town of Wallace, water will
  flood Old River Road between Community Road and Highway 912 and
  may need to be closed.
* At 42.0 feet...Secondary roads downstream from Cheraw begin to
  flood.

The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Wateree River At Lake Wateree
* from Tuesday morning to Saturday afternoon...Or until the warning
  is cancelled.
* At 10 AM Monday the stage was 97.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 100.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...The river will rise above flood stage tomorrow morning
  and continue to rise to 101.9 feet early Wednesday afternoon. The
  river will fall below flood stage by Friday April 28.
* At 100.5 feet...Yards and docks in low lying areas begin to flood.
  Flooding also occurs along Wildlife Road and piers along Singleton
  Creek begin to flood.
* At 102.5 feet...Roadways near Beaver Creek become flooded along with
  additional flooding of yards and docks along the lake shore.
